Not your standard beauty tips

I recently discovered a friends blog and have been reading all of her entries from the past year...yeah, I'm psycho. But I am at work, covering for the receptionist, so I am literally stuck here waiting for the phone to ring with nothing else to do but play sudoku, so there! Yeah, well, anyways, she posted this poem a while back. I have seen it before, and it spoke to me then just as is does now. Living in Orange County leaves you with a skewed vision of what true beauty is, so this is a good reminder.

Time-Tested Beauty Tips

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone...

People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed and redeemed and redeemed. Never throw out anybody. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you'll find one at the end of your arm. As you grow older you will discover that you have two hands. One for helping yourself, the other for helping others.

    Hey Heather,
How do you make the pictures you post enlarge with a mouse click? I would love to do that with some of Gracies pictures.
Thanks for looking in so regularly.I look forward to seeing comments posted just so I can see who looks in.
