Goodbye Utah!

After lunch with my friends, my mom and sister picked me up and we made one last stop before the airport. We drove to Layton to look at a wedding dress a gal was selling on Craigslist. I of course don't want to show pictures of me in it yet, but here is a small one she sent me before I bought it. The picture is too small to do it justice...the dress is simple, but beautiful. I loved it! It's so what I wanted! It's bizarre for me to actually have a wedding dress now...it makes the wedding so real! Now if Cody could just get back we could get this show on the road! :)


After the big purchase we caught our flight back to California. Here are a few shots I took from the plane. I don't know why, but I love taking plane shots when I'm in a window seat. :)




It was a very fun weekend, but it's good to be home. Thanks again to all my friends for their hospitality, and to my mom and sister for making it a fun trip!

    Heather- that dress is SOO pretty, you will look gorgeous! I read all the way through your utah trips and i am so upset we didn't come to the reunion!! We were actually planning on it and then we found out my sis was coming to visit that weekend, she would have been super sad if we weren't around.. but i was ever 100% sure i was making the right decision by staying.. anyway, when i looked at the pics i actually started crying. i need to see everyone again. i miss you and ang so much. no more excuses!!!next time, i'll be there.

    I'm kinda sad I didn't get to see you or your mom while you were out... but youre a popular girl.

    I take comfort in the fact that I can steal Holly and have her as my "little sister" for awhile ha.

    The dress is beautiful. Do you have a date yet for the wedding? (You've probably said it before, but being fairly new here, I don't know when it is.) I hope all of the planning goes smoothly.

    Sorry it took me forever to respond Christa - the tentative date is Feb. 7th! :) I'm waiting until he gets home to set the actual date, but in the little we've discussed it, we both feel good about that day.
