My life right now

This is what my living room looks like. Since I am unemployed, I'm doing the wedding decor by myself, a lot of DIY projects. It's kinda fun, but stressful too.

The wedding plans are coming along, thanks to a lot of help from friends & family. I had bought a lot of things along the way as well, so it was nice not to have to buy everything right now. People keep asking me to delegate stuff to them, and I have on some things, but the problem with DIY projects is you have to DO IT YOURSELF. :)

I'll try to take lots of photos along the way and do a few posts about the process after the wedding. I don't want everyone knowing all the details beforehand. When your "event" is as simple as ours, you have to keep everything under wraps. :)

On a side note, I received the BEST WEDDING PRESENT EVAH! The Big Shot!
My friend Janis, the Stampin' Up Demonstrator, was so generous. Instead of something off our registry, she gave me $150 in Stampin' Up product (plus the hostess benefits!), so I was able to get this beautiful die cut machine and some accessories! I am on cloud nine! This will be a huge help for my projects. The Big Shot just came out a few months ago, and I have coveted it ever since, but couldn't justify the price. Thank you Janis! Thank you! Thank you!!!! :D

I'm on my way to another Bridal Shower. This one is with mostly family, so it should be low key. :)

Wow that looks fun! Your single days are numbered!

I don't know what Stampin' Up is. When I used to read SSB, I remember TAMN talking about it which now means that because I don't know about it, it must mean I'm a bad Mormon. :p

Brittany, bad mormon! :) ha ha, Stampin' Up has been around since the 80's...my mom used to buy their stamps. I was a demonstrator for them back in the 90's, trying to make some extra cash, but you have to be REALLY dedicated to make it work as a full-time job, and I was only 19, so that didn't last long. But I love their products and still use them almost exclusively today. They are the best on the market, imo. I make my own greeting cards and occasionally scrapbook, so I love their stuff.

Obviously I love your wedding color choices... you can never go wrong with green.... which is why it's my main color as well :) I think it's awesome you're doing so many DIY projects -- a crafty girl to the end.

I got your invite and I'm pretty bummed that we won't be able to come by and celebrate with you guys. I'm sure everything will be amazing -- so make sure to upload lots of pictures so that I can feel like I was actually there :)
