I am in love....

...with my new printer!

I've never had my very own printer before, so I'm super excited. I'm finally able to scan photos! I made this little compilation of some favorite photos of me growing up. I haven't been able to share them before, as they are all on old fashioned film...it's so great to make them digital!

I got this printer because I want to turn all my old photos to digital, and not only does this one scan photos, but negatives and slides too! Saves me from having to make a zillion trips to the photo store. It also prints great photos...I am so in love! :)

ps...Don't be offended if you're not in any pictures...all my favorites are scrapbooked and I haven't cracked those open yet to start scanning, or tracked down the negatives. Baby steps! :)

Wow - you and Holly look sooooo much like your mom! Glad to see you're enjoying the scanner. :)

Umm...Jessi, I'm not sure if you remember, but you HATED me in Jr. High! You and Julie! We never became friends until High School, and it took Julie a lot longer to come around.

    Good times! :)

How fun! They look great. I have a printer/scanner, but the scanner sucks. It puts lines down the pictures. We need a new one.

I am oh so offended that I'm not in any of these. I mean geesh! I thought we were close ya know.

really, these are darling and awesome printer. This will be great for your "wedding video" if you have one. ALthough Jon was dying that we were going to have a Utah "mormon" wedding video at our wedding. He said you Californians don't do anything that UNcool.

YES! I made it in!! (I was on the edge of my seat) Your little face hasn't changed a bit. So cute!! PS. Call me crazy but was that some Passive Aggressiveness I noticed in yours and Jessi's comments for the post? :)

  10. Hizzeather September 21, 2008 at 12:23 PM

ha ha...no passive aggressiveness here. We have a long standing joke that Jessi and her "crew" hated me at first. Most people do. Sjauna did. You probably did too Callie. At the very least, it takes people a few days to warm up to my brand of personality. :)

Jessi, you liked my crew, so you tolerated me. We were pals yes, but Julie hated me and she was your BF, so we did not hang out and/or take pictures together at that time. I totally crashed 156 news and that's why my only role was "the lampshade." Oh yeah, and the mom who has the irregular daughter in the commercial for metamucil. :) Mr. Wagstaff did have a way to bring us all together despite our differences. It wasn't until Seminary that we realized that we were the bombs and that we should hang out. :)

Oh, and Ange, you are in one! The mission one! And you are all over my blog! :) I know that you are joking, but I just had to say.

And tell Jon that I'm sorry to disappoint him, but I am going to be very uncool and have a wedding slideshow, and I'm also going to give out CD's of our songs as a favor. I know they are desperately "un-fresh" ideas, but I've always liked them and I can't help it that I took so long to get married and all the cool things are "so 90's" now!!! :)

So, I want to know what kind of printer it is. I need something to scan negatives that won't cost a few thousand.

And I also want you to do your hair in braids like your mom's for your wedding.

  13. Hizzeather September 21, 2008 at 4:36 PM

I'll think about the braids. ;)

It's an HP Photosmart C8180 and it's AWESOME! It noramally costs $400 at Best Buy, but I got it on sale.

Wow, you got a lot of comments on this post. So I'll echo everyone and say how great it was to see pics of you young. It's a shame all our old pictures aren't digital, otherwise I'd probably share more too. Good idea though to scan them in - once again you've motivated me. :)
