A Post Without Pictures! Weird!

I have a lot of time. My fiance is out of the country. I'm a homebody. My family is far away. My job has a lot of down-time. I have LOTS of time.

I try to fill that time with productive things...I really do! I read a few books a week. I have a lot of projects. But sometimes I just like to relax. I don't have TV, so I do it in front of my computer. I love blogging. And most of all, I love reading other blogs.

I just found out about a new one...a GUY! And he's not writing about sports or conspiracy theories! It's fun to read. I found out about him from a button on Kristina's blog, and I like it. He's having a contest to promote his blog, so I thought I'd help (and hopefully win the contest!). Check him out at http://halftimelessons.blogspot.com, or click on the button at the top right.

Speaking of having a lot of time...if you want a blog face-lift, I can help. I did it for Jessi, my brother Derek, & Christa (click on their names to see their blogs). I don't charge anything, because I use free templates from the web and I'm not a pro or anything. I just like making pretty things and learning more about html and all that fun stuff. And I have the time. :)

ps...I did apply to be a baby-sitter for a little family 2 days a week. I can do it after work and it will be nice to fill my time, earn a little cash for the wedding, and to help this family out. Wish me luck!

Hey Heather! I love making new backgrounds for my blog too but I can't figure out how to make the back-background stretch all the way to the sides of the screen. How do I do this? Thanks!

Trish, you had to ask the one question that I don't know and that has been BUGGING me forever! If I knew, I feel like I could design my own layouts. Right now I have to rely on other's, and even though I look at their codes, I haven't figured it out. But you have given me incentive to finally find out. When I do, I'll let you know!

I'm glad you found Jay. He actually emailed me with the smaller sidebar button, but I've been driving the past 4 hours, and haven't had a chance to change it out.

    He's a very cool guy!
