Date Night

I'm just going to say it...Cody has always been terrible at arranging plans. Anything that we've done, I've always initiated and planned. Every once in awhile, I get fed up and force Cody to plan a date night. He hates it when I do that and stresses unnecessarily...this is why I have only done this 3 times. :)
My most recent request was that he plan a date night on a Friday in May. It took him a few days, but he planned going to the movies, getting $5 footlongs, and enjoying the sunset at Lamont Odett Vista Point. That wasn't so hard now, was it? I love it when he plans stuff, because he chooses cool stuff I would never think to do. We invited Eric & Ileana to make it a double date and we had a really nice time! I think Palmdale can be quite beautiful, especially at sunset overlooking the aqueduct and the lake. We parked there and chatted for a long time, until it was really dark and our talk about kidnappings finally spooked us. :)

Bargain matinees, Subway specials, and a short drive can make a fun date on a budget...great job Cody! :) Now he can relax for the next 6 months or so until I ask him to plan something again!
