Memorial Day

Cody and I have been called as the Activities Chairs for our ward...we also make up the whole committee. :) But thanks to all the great people in our ward (congregation), we always have a great time at the activities. For Memorial Day we had a Flag raising and breakfast, prepared by the men. It was a beautiful day, and I was glad that we were able to be together and remember the wonderful service men and women who have died to help make America the best place to live today. If it wasn't for them, we might not even be able to meet as a congregation in our beautiful building...I am very grateful.

Thanks to the Cornwall family, we always have nice decorations at our activities. And thanks to the great young and older men, we always have plenty of volunteers to set up tables and then put them back again. And of course the women are indispensable...pretty much our ward is the best. :)
