Let's Bump it!!!

Sorry Kristina, but when these appeared at Target...I had to get them!
I know a lot of people can make that cute little bump in their hair, but I can't, so LAY OFF ME! :) My sister-in-law Katy and I saw them at Target and we just had to have them! We tried out the biggest one, and it actually looked cute on Kate! I looked a little silly.
On Sunday I wore the medium one and had my hair half up...it looked really cute, I swear! We went to Simi Valley for my cousin Jeremy's homecoming. I thought everyone would know, but even when I told my dad I had one in, he was surprised. So we went to church, had lunch, hung out, played games, chatted. No one said a word, but I did get a few compliments on how nice I looked (I had the cutest dress on :). All of a sudden, my uncle Bruce walks in the room, and says lightly, "Do you have a bump-it in your hair?" I was so surprised that he could tell and that he even knew what they were. I said, "Yes! Can you tell?" It was his turn to be surprised. He had seen them on Ellen that week and was just trying to make a joke...he though I wouldn't know what they were! It was really funny. I went in the other room and told my cousin how her dad had called me out on my bumpit. She was shocked that I had one too! Everyone started looking at my hair...I guess they had ALL seen Ellen that week! It was really funny...they even asked my cousin Jena, who had an artfully styled bump in her hair if she had one too...she didn't. :)

Check out the popular clip...and learn how NOT to put in bumpits. :)

When we were at Wal-Mart a few days ago and the bumpit display was cleaned out. I'm not the only weirdo! So when you see a gal with a sassy bump in her hair, be aware. They are likely bumpin' it. :)

Would you wear them? Or am I freak? :)

You are a true Mormon now.

And you must have a lot thicker hair than I do, because I could not cover it up for the life of me. Honestly, I think they are ridiculous!

For the picture of my "bump", I thought of putting a picture of my hair with one of these in. Your bump's a lot cuter than mine :)

Sorry, you are a freak. Toni and I make fun of that product every time the commercial comes on.

I bought it a few weeks ago and love it! My hair goes naturally straight no matter how much spray. Out here in Utah, everyone has "high" hair! Jen wants to borrow it and try it!
Have fun with your "bump it"! I am glad I found you on Jen's blog.
Miss you! I just enrolled in Nursing School. Should be fun!
    Love ya,
    Kathy Crosier

It looks good on you, it's stylish, take advantage of the help I have flat hair too!

Michael keeps stopping me from buying it -- but I think I'm going to finally just do it anyway.

I can do the bump without it, but I'm lazy and I hate teasing my hair, I don't care if it is "utah" hair. whatever.

I'm all for the bump it! Anything to get a little body! :) Hey how did you get a cute text on your blogger?? I like it!

Thanks Heather. I did it! When I have more time I'll have to look around more and do more cute things! :)

That doesn't surprise me at all about Bruce noticing. He has always been one to pay close attention to hair, especially Jeanine's! Looks good on you, but no way could I pull it off! :)

You are officially the only person I "know" who has bought that! Too funny but it looked great.

Oh, that's hilarious. I've never been able to get a 'bump' in my hair, either. Maybe I'll have to try one of those.
